In June of 2021, partners Colleen Lorack and Annie Seel of Bagel Girls LLC, purchased Sal’s Pizza and the Bagelry in La Verne.

About 6 months later, after making some adjustments to the menu and ambiance, the pair were ready to unveil a new name and brand for the establishment, Bagelry & Brew.

The restaurant serves kettle-boiled, freshly baked bagels and hand-tossed pizzas by the slice or pie, as well as other bites, like deli sandwiches and bagel dogs in the afternoon and evenings. Pair your food with the right brews – coffee or beer – to create a whole new taste sensation. Plus, red or white wine by the glass or bottle is available.

The restaurant's new focus on brews means a wider selection of coffees like seasonal flavors and gourmet creations available throughout the day, beginning at 8 a.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. on weekends. The pair are committed to a larger selection of authentic craft beers that work effortlessly with menu items like bagel sandwiches, pizza and hot sandwiches.

 

The ambiance includes an updated, fresh environment where someone can enjoy a bagel and coffee while reading or working, or indulge in pizza with good company over a few beers or a bottle of wine.

 

Lorack and Seel are committed to the community, and providing a space for the La Verne and neighboring communities to safely gather for a latte or bagel in the mornings, pizza and brews in the evenings or an upcoming wine tasting and dinner event. No matter the time of day, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
